Happy Vaisakhi!

Its Vaisakhi!!! :D

A very Happy Vaisakhi to all Sikh friends out there.

May Waheguru Ji accept your good deeds, bring all the years full of love and contentment. May all of you come up as bright as sun, as cool as water and as sweet as honey. Hope this Vaisakhi fulfill all your desires and wishes friends. :)

Hmm......today.... Today i had a great day in Gurdwara. :D The kirtan, katha, nishan sahib selami... Everything was done perfectly.....but...the pigeons were not flying as they usually do.. That was kinda surprising, and also, weird to me. You see, every time the flag is changed, the pigeons would start flying together in a flock all around the whole place, and let me tell you, it's an amazing sight. Seriously amazing. It's something that you can't see everywhere, but sadly, today, i don't know what's up with the pigeons.

Anyways, i still had a great day. :) Guess what? I specially skipped my classes...but hey, i did get permission alright? My lecturers were like, damn cool! So i didn't attend my classes and i went to the Gurdwara instead. This makes me wonder again and again every year. Why isn't there such thing as a public holiday for Vaisakhi? They call it 1 Malaysia, don't they? Then, why isn't there any holiday for us??

Well, let's just leave that aside. I don't wanna end up talking about politics instead...hehe...hmm....so what else?? Alright then... there's nothing much to talk actually.. So i better not let you all get bored with my nonsense.... :P

So................... Byeeeeeeee................ Take care......... :)

Respond to pickup lines ;)

Hey... I got something interesting for all girls from one of the like pages in Facebook. So thought of sharing it.... Have fun.... :)

"Haven't I seen you someplace before?"
"Yeah, that's why I don't go there anymore."

"Is this seat empty?"

"Yes, and this one will be too if you sit down."

"I want to give myself to you."

"Sorry, I don't accept cheap gifts."

"I can tell that you want me."

"Ohhhh. You're so right. I want you... to leave."

"Your place or mine?"

"Both. You go to yours and I'll go to mine."

Q: What's your name sexy?

A: Taken!

Q: I think you're the best looking girl in here.

A: Really? Well, I'd better go find the best looking guy then, hadn't I!

Q: Can I buy you a drink?

A: Go ahead, but only if you buy my boyfriend one too!

"You look like a dream."

Response: "Go back to sleep."

"I can see forever in your eyes."

Response: "But all I can see is never in yours."

Parents!

Hey bloggie!! You missed me?? You did?? Aaawwww.....hmm...yea....i know i know.... It had been a week plus since i last posted...sorrryyyy....i had been busy with a lot of random things... Okay..that was an excuse.... Actually, i was malas laaa.....and yess....a little bit busy too....busy "lepaking"....hehe.... :P

Anyways.....parents! Arrggghhhh! They can be such a pain at times and you guys got to admit with it okay? Don't say no, because i bet all of you do feel the same thing at times! Well, even though they're a pain, it doesn't mean that we don't love them right? Oh come on! They are our parents man! So obviously we do love them! I love my parents!! :) But yea...right now! I'm annoyed with them! Why? Long story! Not gonna go into it....

But..... Thinking back of all the things that i have gone through with my parents, you know, how i wish i could change some things. In fact, i would like to leave them a memo, which i know would be pointless in my case. So instead of sharing my memo with them...i wanna share them with all of you. Who knows...that one day later...they might come across my blog...and when they read this, they'll be like...damn! we should have change some things as our child wanted! Okay! Stop dreaming preety! Back to my memo......

Memo from your child ;)

1. DON'T spoil me. I know quite well that I ought not to have all that I ask for. I'm only testing you.

2. DON'T be afraid to be firm with me. I prefer it. It makes me more secure.

3. DON'T let me form bad habits. I have to rely on you to detect them in the early stages.

4. DON'T make me feel smaller than I am. It only makes me behave stupidly big.

5. DON'T correct me in front of people if you can help it.

6. DON'T make me feel that my mistakes are sins. It upsets my set of values.

7. DON'T be upset when I say "I hate you". It's not you I hate, but your power to hinder.

8. DON'T protect me from consequences. I need to learn the painful way sometimes.

9. DON'T nag. If you do, I will need to protect myself by appearing deaf.

10. DON'T make rash promises. Remember, I feel badly let down when promises are broken.

11. DON'T tax my honestly too much. I am easily frighten into telling lies.

12. DON'T be inconsistent. That completely confuses me and makes me lose faith in you.

13. DON'T tell me my fears are silly. They are terribly real to me and you can do much to reassure me if you try to understand.

14. DON'T ever suggest that you are perfect or infallible. It gives me a great shock when I discover that you are neither.

15. DON'T forget that I can't thrive without lots of love and understanding, but I don't need to tell you that, do I?

I'm done with my memo. Owh gaawwddd! How i wish i could just give it to them man! *sigh* Hmmm..... Never mind! To all of you out there... If you ever wanna give a memo to your parents, feel free write a memo as i just did alright?? But! But but but..... Just make sure that your parents are actually gonna read it! Or else, don't waste your precious time!!! Good luck!

Alright then bloggie.... I'll be back for another post. Got to go now.... Byeeeeee.... =)

What Love Does... =)

Love can make you do crazy things,

Sometimes big and sometimes small,
But these crazy things that we both do,
Makes it all worth while...
Dreaming while wide awake,
Oblivious to anything around,
Feelings so high off of dreams,
Its as if my feet don't touch the ground...
Little things written on paper,
Your name and mine together,
Perfect hearts and sayings,
Always and forever...
Though little and useless,
They mean the world to me,
My thoughts and feelings written,
For everyone to see...
Sometimes I can't talk,
When you're around me,
Blinded by love,
But happy to be...
Yet sometimes I ramble on and on,
Unaware how foolish I sound,
Embarrassed by how I'm acting,
That I stop and look at the ground...
Because I can't look you in the eyes,
By now my face would be red,
I would be smiling, laughing, even apologizing,
For some of the crazy things I said...
Occasionally I stumble when I walk,
Because I'm thinking of you,
From not watching where I'm going,
Isn't it crazy what love can do...
I sit and I write long messages,
To tell you how I feel,
Because it's easier to write than say,
But either way you know it's real...
I tell you all the things,
That I have never told anyone at all,
Because I trust you with my whole heart,
Knowing you would catch me if I were to fall...
Things that I haven't told my closest friends,
Not my family, nobody else knows,
Just another way for you to see,
How deep my trust and love for you goes...
I'll say some of the strangest things,
To hear you laugh and see a smile on your face,
These things that make me always feel,
That with you I'm in the right place...
All these crazy things,
That love makes me do,
I do them only,
Because I truly love you...

King Arthur

Hey.... Ever wondered what a girl really wants??? Yes? No??
Read the story about King Arthur to find out the answer....
Enjoy!! =)

Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighboring kingdom. The monarch could have killed him, but was moved by Arthur’s youthful happiness, so he offered him freedom, as long he could answer a very difficult question.

Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer; if, after a year, he still had no answer, he would then be put to death.

The question was "What do women really want?"

Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man and to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query.

Well, since it was better than death, he accepted the monarch’s proposition to have an answer by year’s end. He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everybody the princesses, the prostitutes, the priests, the wise men, and the court jester. In all, he spoke with everyone, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer. What most people did tell him was to consult the old witch, as only she would know the answer. The price would be high, since the witch was famous through-out the kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged.

The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no alternative but to talk to the witch. She agreed to answer his question, but he’d have to accept her price first. The old witch wanted to marry Gawain, the most noble of the Knights of the Round Table and Arthur’s closest friend! Young Arthur was horrified she was hunchbacked and awfully hideous, had only one tooth, smelled like sewage water, often made obscene noises etc. He had never run across such a repugnant creature. He refused to force his friend to marry her and have to endure such a burden.

Gawain, upon learning of the proposal, spoke with Arthur. He told him that nothing was too big a sacrifice compared to Arthur’s life and the preservation of the Round Table. Hence, their wedding was proclaimed, and the witch answered Arthur’s question "What a woman really wants is to be able to be in charge of her own life."

Everyone instantly knew that the witch had uttered a great truth and that Arthur’s life would be spared. And so it went. The neighboring monarch spared Arthur’s life and granted him total freedom.

What a wedding Gawain and the witch had! Arthur was torn between relief and anguish. Gawain was proper as always, gentle and courteous. The old witch put her worst manners on display and generally made everyone very uncomfortable.

The wedding night approached. Gawain, steeling himself for an horrific night, entered the bedroom. What a sight awaited!

The most beautiful woman he’d ever seen lay before him! Gawain was astounded and asked what had happened. The beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her (when she’d been a witch), half the time she would be her horrible, deformed self and the other half, she would be her beautiful maiden self.

Which would he want her to be during the day and which during the night? What a cruel question! Gawain began to think of his predicament- during the day a beautiful woman to show off to his friends, but at night, in the privacy of his home, an old spooky witch? Or would he prefer having by day a hideous witch, but by night a beautiful woman to enjoy many intimate moments? What would you do?

What Gawain chose follows below, but don’t read on until you’ve made your own choice.

ANSWER Noble Gawain replied that he would let her choose for herself. Upon hearing this, she announced that she would be beautiful all the time because he had respected her and had let her be in charge of her own life. _

THE MORAL The moral of this story is that when we allow another to be who they are, we all benefit!
